ESPN, Mysteries of the Rimet Trophy

espn.go.com/30for30/soccer

Following the success of Radical Media's 30 for 30 film You Don't Know Bo, directed by Michael Bonfiglio, ESPN came to us for its 30 for 30 Soccer series leading up to the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

In collaboration with director Brett Ratner, narrator Edward Norton, and a small production team, I co-wrote and story produced Mysteries of the Rimet Trophy. The 30-minute film follows the story of the original World Cup trophy, from a Nazi plan to steal it during World War II to its mysterious final disappearance from Brazil in 1983.

The film premiered on ESPN primetime and was one of the highest ranked films in the series, applauded by one reviewer as "one of the most fun 30 for 30 documentaries, regardless of genre, that ESPN has put together."
